Just following on from my first blog, I thought i’d tell you a little more about us. Firstly, I want you to know that we only employ experienced celerks, so you can be assured of a professional service. At Starlet Inventories, we take training seriously and any new clerks will have a period of shadowing ,after the theory, to ensure they have the necessary skills for the job. Starlet Inventories, is AIIC (Association of Independent Inventory Clerks )fully accredited member,and we take this very seriously. We are also a member of APIP. To become Inventory Company- Accredited, you must show proof of, number of years experience, and submit various documents for approval. Once you have been granted membership you must adhere by their standards of practice. This includes keeping up-to-date with current procedures.
It is very important when searching for Inventory services ,to ensure you hire an accredietd Inventory Company , as many small Companies, with no experience, appear to be springing up overnight. Sometimes their rates may be cheaper, however it is you , as the Landlord or managing agent who will end up paying in the end. In order for the document to stand up in a court of law, in the event of a dispute, at the end of a tenancy, you will need a document you can rely upon.
